Clinic Hours:

Appointments are scheduled on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday, start at 8:30AM, and typically last between 4-8 hours. A lunch break will be provided for appointments that extend into the afternoon.

Meet Dr. Owen Gaasedelen:

Owen Gaasedelen, Ph.D., ABPP, is a Board Certified (ABCN/ABPP) Clinical Neuropsychologist who completed his two year postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology at the New Mexico VA. He completed his predoctoral internship at the VA North Texas (Neuropsychology Track), in Dallas TX. He completed his Ph.D. at the University of Iowa where he concurrently completed an M.A. in Educational Measurement and Statistics. He completed his undergraduate degree from Saint Olaf College. He has published multiple peer-reviewed neuropsychology articles and book chapters, and has presented at numerous local, national, and international conferences. Dr. Gaasedelen is lifespan trained and therefore has experience seeing children through older adults. In addition to neuropsychological expertise, Dr. Gaasedelen provides evidenced-based treatment (i.e., Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, & Interpersonal Process Therapy) of psychological disorders, including depression, anxiety, adjustment & trauma-related disorders (e.g., PTSD), and sleep difficulties (e.g., insomnia and/or nightmares).


Services Provided:

Neuropsychological Assessment

Dr. Gaasedelen conducts comprehensive neuropsychological or psychological evaluations addressing (but not limited to) the following referral questions/conditions:

  • Dementia/Major Neurocognitive Disorder
  • Mild Neurocognitive Disorder
  • Decision-Making Capacity (e.g., medical, financial, legal)
  • Medico-legal Evaluations (e.g., IMEs)
  • Pre- and Post-Surgery (e.g., pre-DBS, epilepsy, transplant)
  • Developmental Disorders (e.g., ADHD/Specific Learning Disorder)
  • Intellectual Disability
  • Fitness for duty
  • Traumatic Brain Injury
  • Multiple Sclerosis
  • Psychological Disorders, such as Depression, Anxiety, and PTSD

Dr. Gaasedelen does not conduct custody evaluations.
